Silent whispers

Caged in the soul

Like a prisoner on death row

Unstring the cord of my heart’s violin

Where the pains dissolve

Into an oasis of silence,

Longings lodged in a petal’s bosom

That never blossom-

Because life and love are mysteries

Only the soul can unearth,

Even when unspoken are token

Of molten emotions

That wake at dawn

And walk in fast or slow motion

Into an empty ocean that houses my soul

Where the heart blazed in liquid inferno

Of desires

Of dread

Of dreams

Of a soul in a soulless stream

On a bank of blue roses under the blue sky

Where the heaven opens

And drops an angel in my purple dream

And she whispers into soul

A verse of eternal beatitude.
